This is the first HUMMINGBIRDS Guide made especially for the Iphone and Ipod Touch. This Data DVD provides a comprehensive library of 113 high-quality digital videos ready to load on your Apple Iphone or Ipod Touch. The carefully converted clips are the same available in the two DVD set version of the guide, either bird by bird or the video version. The videos have been specially processed to give optimun playback on the superb displays of the Iphone and Ipod, althought the .m4v files can be read in any device able of playng back such files. An individual video, file lasting around a minute, is provided for each species. The species is identified by a board at the beginning with its english name.

To load the Video Guide to your device, simply drag the video files into your device´s icon in Itunes. The clips are numbered and a cue sheet can be downloaded from the site (List of Hummingbirds above), so that the species appear in taxonomic order. The entire library takes up 1.4 GB of space on your device. Any combination of clips can be included or omited. If you travel to one country you might wish to include only the species of that country alone.

Finally a field guide on Hummingbirds easy to carry on, easy to visualize and it´s always there to check out any available species.
